With over 25 years experience as a licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Randy Hyde is widely recognized for his remarkable recovery and healing systems, and common-sense, down-to-earth approach. His methods are highly effective in changing behaviors and restoring peace, happiness and health in people’s lives and relationships. Randy’s practical “get results” approach to therapy has helped thousands of individuals, couples and families succeed in many areas including: pornography/sexual addiction; marriage, parenting and other family relationships; ADHD; Obsessive Compulsive Disorder; depression; moral development training; and self-esteem difficulties.

Dr. Hyde has been involved with a remarkable variety of projects and positions. These include:

  • Owner and Clinical Director of a large private mental health outpatient clinic for over 20 years.
  • Chief Psychologist and Program Director for a regional Mental Health Hospital.
  • Founder of an ADHD clinic.
  • Co-founder and Clinical Director of Youth Reclamation, a private clinic specializing in helping severely delinquent teens and their families.
  • 23 years as an adjunct university professor and supervisor for Clinical Psychology Doctoral Students.

For over 30 years, Dr. Bernell Christensen has dedicated his professional life to the pursuit of his passion—helping individuals, couples, and families overcome difficult challenges and enjoy life more fully. Thousands have looked to Dr. Christensen’s uncommon wisdom, vast experience and remarkably effective solutions to turn their lives and relationships around. His broad professional experience includes: over 30 years in private practice as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist; Program Director for Developmental Disabilities at regional Children’s Hospital; Director of Therapy for the Maximum Security Prison System in Alaska; Director of Therapeutic Center for Sexual Abuse victims and perpetrators.

As an author and trainer, Dr. Christensen has assisted numerous organizations in the development and delivery of special programs for families. He has traveled the U.S. conducting training for couples and parents in the areas of communication, abuse recovery, and successful family relationships.

Derrick HullThomas Derrick Hull

(Director of Neuroscience and Learning Design)

Derrick Hull holds a Master’s degree in Education Technology and a Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from Harvard University. Derrick’s passion is developing brain-science-based education and learning systems that bring about positive, lasting behavioral change.
Derrick’s work in psychology and neuroscience has lead to innovative research programs at Harvard Medical School’s Laboratories of Cognitive Neuroscience, and the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory. Derrick has also provided consulting services to agencies at Catholic Healthcare West and Intermountain Healthcare.

A dedicated researcher, Derrick has published professional articles on a wide variety of topics including developmental and cognitive neuroscience, learning theory, medical training, and complex systems theory and management. He is a past Editor of Current Issues in Education, and has written several entries on neuroscience for the highly esteemed Greenwood Dictionary of Education.

Mark Kastleman is an internationally acclaimed speaker, trainer and author. Mark works with leading brain scientists and psychologists in developing education and training programs used world-wide to help individuals overcome difficult-to-change behaviors. Mark has conducted training for professionals across the U.S. and in various parts of the world. His audiences have included top government officials, psychologists and therapists, medical doctors, educators, law enforcement and the military.

Mark is recognized for his writing in the areas of brain science and behavioral change, following in the footsteps of his mentor, world-renowned neuropsychologist, Dr. Page Bailey. Mark has received international acclaim for his extensive work in the field of pornography addiction prevention and recovery. His book The Drug of the New Millennium, The Brain Science Behind Internet Pornography Use is widely cited and utilized by therapists, counselors and clergy. In addition to his professional background, Mark brings a unique perspective and experience to Candeo through his own 25-year struggle and successful recovery from sexual addiction.
