this is a very helpful way of thinking——-i am hearing you say that in essence, i will do much better if i “plan toward” my next strong “draw” toward the funnel………. if i will better use my “good” times to prepare for the next onslaught of feeling driven toward the funnel, then that experience will not be as likely to overwhelm me……….i will do a better job of avoiding slipping to far toward the funnel experience……….
thank you Mark, this will be of great help to me……

Thanks Mark. It is making me think about the difference between a mentality of “getting help to help oneself”, versus a “self-control phase.” I think the former mentality comes from a higher state than simply a demand for improvement and fear of worsening. Maybe it comes from the inkling of hope that there is a proven way out that is not solely individual but inter-personal, involving helping and being helped.

THE PODCAST WAS SPOT ON. IT IS A VERY HARD ADDICTION TO BREAK BECAUSE PORNOGRAPHY IS VERY STIMULATING. I’VE BEEN BATTLING SINCE I WAS 14 AND I’M 27 NOW. SOMETIMES I TRIED TO STOP BUT I FINALLY ADMIT THAT I’VE BEEN ADDICTED TO SEX SINCE I WAS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. MY PERSPECTIVE HAS CHANGED THOUGH SINCE I LISTENED TO THIS PODCAST.
