A study has recently been published on Candeo in a psychology research journal, Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity. Here is a quick summary of the highlights from the study. We encourage you to review the article on the publisher’s website if you would like more details.

  • Candeo Students rated various other forms of treatment as somewhat less helpful than Candeo in helping them in their recovery. (see the abstract and page 9 for more information
  • Candeo Students reported decreases in pornography use and masturbation.
  • Candeo Students reported improvements in all measured aspects of recovery. (see the abstract and page 10 for more information)
  • Candeo Students found they had more constructive reactions to temptations, felt better about life in general, had an increased sense of control over their behavior, and felt more meaning in life.
  • The Candeo Students who responded also felt a greater connection to their spouse or partner, to their children and to themselves, felt more forgiven and at peace over their past struggles and were more engaged in healthy pleasure outlets.
  • Finally, Candeo Students also reported having unwanted sexual thoughts less often and struggled less with negative feelings about themselves and their lives. (see the abstract and page 12 for more details on the last 3 bullets)

We are optimistic about the benefits Candeo is providing to people in search of solutions. More research is underway, stay tuned!

Student Feedback

In addition to the research above, here’s what Candeo Students are telling us:

  • 77% have indicated that Candeo is more effective than anything else they’ve tried. 96% believe it is as good as or better than anything else they’ve tried.
  • When asked to compare how they thought they were doing prior to Candeo versus how they believe they’re doing now, Candeo Students who have finished the training report a 50% improvement (from 25% recovered to 74% recovered). These improvements increase as Students continue to apply what they’ve learned and engage with the Candeo Platform, Support Community and Change Tools.
  • Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Non-Theists, Agnostics and many others alike are all experiencing success with the Candeo Program.
  • There are just as many people in the program over the age of 40 as there are under the age of 30.
  • Our Students come from over 80 different countries.
  • 38% have never been married, 47% are currently married, and 15% are divorced or currently separated.
  • Nearly 12% report same-sex attraction
